I'm certain I've purchased some Type 3 parts from Jeff, but this post if for providing feedback regarding on-going technical advice Jeff is providing (for an engine build).

It is written that "Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisors, they succeed". In this case, counsel from Jeff is extremely helpful and beneficial. It is based on experience and knowledge and I find Jeff is open to an exchange of ideas.

I'm looking forward to additional parts deals, and continued advice for my T4 into a type 3 engine build.

BEWARE. This seller in my opinion is not trustworthy. I purchased an item from him and it’s just not usable but he would not accept a return. I even offered to pay his cost to ship to me and my cost to ship back. He refused emphatically! I Lost $250.00 and was treated very disrespectfully and harshly.

Samba even went to bat for me but it was useless. Be careful if you buy from him. His photo was very poor too which should have been a red flag. I learned my lesson.

I recently bought from Jeff (Bubba Smith in Georgia) a VW Actuator 255 959 783A (see current ad) and had it shipped to Australia.
I was told it was in working order. When I got it, it was packed well and the carton was intact.
However, the plastic bellows was broken from the rod....this was NEVER pointed out....it was obviously in this condition when packed.
I asked for a refund.
I was told "no refunds...wasn't broken when shipped".
DO NOT buy from this person...advertising was misleading and no comeback.
I have just wasted $150 AU on this.
Be Aware.

Can't recommend as a seller. Buyer beware.

Electrical parts are typically sold "as is." But that's typically for the electronic components. I purchased a turn signal switch from this guy and the basic function was broken. This switch was either not checked before being listed and sold or known to be faulty and not explained in the ad. It appears this guy knowing sold a faulty switch. Not cool. Took my money and basically told me tough luck "buddy."

This hobby has some really cool people. But sadly every now and then you run across a bad apple.
