I had about an hour long conversation with the original seller on the phone. super cool dude. He had gotten the bus out of southern Nebraska and said everything he had ever gotten out of that area was pretty dry.He had recently gotten a bay window camper that belonged to a friend of his that passed away from cancer and was selling the bus to fund a restoration of the bay in his friends honor. super cool bus cant wait to see it at the shows in 2021 |

Great Chris. Thanks for the additional information. That is super cool he is using the money to restore a bus to honor his friend who passed. _________________ September 1964 Standard Sunroof walk through SWR/BG original paint. |

I have some progress to report on my 65. The canvas ragtop cover is now installed and most of the interior is done, the upholstery came from West Coast Classics and my buddy Telly did a lot of the installation. I didn't have the headliner done at this time and the front door panels had a problem and we are waiting on replacements to arrive.

Yeah, here is a picture of the horn ring and trip speedo. The horn ring is an original accessory that was offered in Brazil in the 1960's. It kind of looks like a Petri horn ring so i decided to try one out on this bus, it fits on the stock wheel. I have lots of other accessories planned for this bus. The horn ring is original and could stand to be rechromed and the badge needs to be polished.

The WCC stuff is the finest and it shows in the install. |

It was great to see your bus at OCTO yesterday. Thank you for bringing it out.
It really doesn't get better than patina mixed with a sunroof standard. Your bus is on point!

Sweet. I remember when Greg arrive in HB with those. I helped him move that "Broken trailer"(after a rough ride back) I bought some parts off that trailer and was in awe what he brought back.
Pretty rare find-both of them. Gotta love a walk through w a rag. |
