So I was searching through classifieds and found a fiberglass front end for a notchback and was wondering, is it going to be different between the three type 3 cars? Is a notchback going to fit a fastback or squareback in this situation? I think it would be a fun idea to use one but want to make sure it'll work and not just be a waste of time. _________________ It's not the fall that hurts, it's the sudden stop at the bottom.

The entire front clip (hood, fenders, apron) directly interchange between models (except the T-34 Ghia, as it's all by itself). The key is to find year specific parts though, as up to 70 (thru 69) is the early style, while 70 on is the late style. Granted, there are parts of the frunk that are 70 only and 71 on, just like the 68-69 early style has it's own parts including a fuel filler tube assembly and a door in the fender.
If you're planning to go with a fiberglass front clip, it shouldn't matter the year or body style, as you'll be making modifications to make it all fit anyway.
I hope this helps. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Year won't really be an issue with it, just it they were different. It was listed as being for a notchback, and it's definitely the early style. Thanks though, just was making sure. _________________ It's not the fall that hurts, it's the sudden stop at the bottom.
