This was my buddys bus. Its a good driver, great mechanicals and interior upgrade |
That did look like a great price for that Bus, and a nice job w/ the interior. _________________ Tom

He did say he'd post pictures but not of his tent- hard for me to conclude any of those photos are of his tent? _________________

Hey sorry about the crappy ad. Attempted to repost and the photos were small so I need to post the photos that I took on my phone. Every photo except for the one with the tent connected to a bus are mine. The one with the tent connected to the bus is not my tent. I bought the tent a while back and have never set it up due to not having a westy. I have a 63 caravelle with another tent that is og to that bus so I don’t have any use for this tent. |

Maybe the second carb is stashed behind the drivers seat?
I'm guessing they meant to type dual port. |

It looks like it’s stashed in the headliner over the backseat.

The "nautical inspired" isn't always a bad thing. Oldbug.com had a 59 sub hatch for sale a while back that had, at least in my opinion, a boat like interior. It was more Chris-Craft style and less Bayliner. I really liked it, this bus is not my style at all. But if you ever drive off a bridge those front seat cushions could be used as a flotation device. |

The back rests don't bug me really, although I do sit back sometimes on really long highway drives so it wouldn't be comfortable with no padding.
The base though, I wonder how comfortable that is versus a seat with springs.
If it's super dense foam it might be ok.
Funny you say boat cushions, I wouldn't have thought of that until you said it but that is dead on

Complete side note, but on that bus as well, I often see the forward most cargo door is replaced or repainted (including mine)
Is this most likely wind blowing it open w/o straps at some point in it's life, or am I missing something? _________________ 65 Notchback

it looks like the owner wanted to have the outside look like nothing was done but had the entire drivetrain, breaks, etc done, all the MOT critical rust repaired, and painted like new. including the cab. I personally prefer that look over the opposite option where the outside is "restored" and the underneath and drivetrain is shit.
"Repaired" would be a lot better word. _________________ regards
