First time poster, in need of body work for my 1963 11 window Turkis. I'm located in Tacoma, WA. Please help with a referral for someone reputable if you know anyone who is willing to assist. Transaxle being rebuilt and I'm actively procuring parts.

Thank you.
Regards,
David W.

Gotta say, if I didn’t do all my own work and wanted someone with a better skill set and attention to detail than myself I would absolutely contact Jake/Sled to work magic on my buses. Solid work being done there.

If you want high level good work which most any bus deserves, it is going to take a couple/few years at least. Pretty much any skilled bus metal guy is booked at least a year into the future. Same is true for most general metal guys. There is just too much demand for skilled work. The metalwork is the first step, then the body and paint need to be done. Many body shops won't do complete paint jobs.

Be prepared to spend the next few years and a large sum of money on this project. This is not simple or easy, it is a lengthy painful process, but it can be fun and driving a split bus is a great feeling.

Post a few pics of your bus so we can see what you are needing.

That adds up. It is a lengthy process. I'm just starting but am patient. Thx

I think this shop is 180 miles from you, but I follow them on FB and they do great work.

They look pretty legit. I'll call them and investigate. Thanks.
