Hello All,

I am planning out the next steps behind the back seat of my 1973 Super Beetle Convertible and wanted to clarify if the convertible top liner needs to be installed first and then the carpet is glued over that.

the top headliner goes in first and then the carpet. the excess headliner is hidden under the carpet.

now a question....where to get those super fancy hand straps on the convertible frame! those are super classy.

Oh thanks, my brother is a leather worker and made them and also the seat latch strap Smile

I am trying to figure out how the back seat carpet panels attach etc but can't find a good post with photos Smile
