I've suddenly lost my horn, blinkers and turn signals on my 69 automatic fastback. My emergency flashers work so I don't believe that the relay is bad. I've cleaned and resecured the wire at bottom of steering column for horn. I've pulled the steering wheel and inspected turn signal switch and wiring,(it was new last year.) Checked all fuses and looked for loose wiring under the dash. It doesn't seem likely that more than one relay would go bad at the same time so I'm thinking loose power or ground somewhere, just don't know where else to look. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks |

4-ways have power without the ignition on. What has failed on yours are all switched power. That may be a clue to what current track is open. |

Do the wipers and warning lights still work? If not, your most likely suspect is the feed from terminal 15 of the ign switch to Fuse 8. If those additional items DO work, you likely have an interruption in Fuse 9. These ceramic fuses can look OK and still not work. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

Phil and Tram thank you very much. The knowledge you posses and the guidance you have given to these forums is appreciated by myself and I'm sure countless others. Tram you hit this one on the head. I can not believe I checked the fuses more than once and still missed it. It was indeed as simple as replacing the #9 fuse. Blink blink, beep beep. Thanks again. |
