This M-Plate is really strange.
This bus was produced on 08th July 1966 but it is a 1967 MY. Can't be produced on July 67 because the serial number is very early (7002293)
Does mean that the 67 MY changing is in july, not in August? |

the sea blue bus, you can see the floor, which is falling down to the ground, which is attached to the chassis frame sections, which is also rusted out. both buses need whole "frames". I don't like cutting up buses so of course will see if there are any takers before any cutting. but this is average midwestern fare when they've been sitting in a field. |
How rusty is the frame on the white one? (with the top damage?) _________________ Al Brase

Hey Tom!
I remember that bus... not far from where I used to live... He’s always wanted too much for it. I tried to buy it maybe 15 years ago and couldn’t justify it back then! Now he wants significantly more. Guess I can forget about that one! |

don't recall who gave me the info on it, and yes, he has always asked to much for it, I just wanted to check it off my list of over price decent Split Buses I'll never buy _________________ Tom

Crukab.....That’s exactly how I remember it too...with a bunch of old 70’s porno mags in the back. I remember being disappointed the turquoise color was way off. Pretty sure that was an original turquoise bus that had been sitting up at Pete Harris’s back around 1990-91. I remember it having a real cool patina back then and wanting it. |

Scott sold his dad's bus finally? I thought it would sit there forever.
Glad to see it out of the backwoods and getting some love. _________________ nothing |

Bought this SWR/BG ’63 standard today, solid bus. No seats, has a new 1600dp, rebuilt trans, new brakes, rebuilt front end.

So what's the story on it ?? Long time "wait out the owner" type deal ? Or, just stumbled across it ?? _________________ Tom

I ran across it by accident, the owners wife said they had a bus for sale. I went to pick it up today and drove it around a bit. It doesn’t look like it, but it’s turn key. I need to find a Sigla pop out window. Ironically I had some 63 date coded 15” wheels I let go of last year.

Its been a while since I got a good bus hunt and recover. Picked up this 67 this morning after finding it last weekend. It has a few oddities, pop out windows and belly pans.

Those were only Euro delivery, even SO42 Euro deliveries I’ve seen had pop outs and not louvered windows. So likely a Euro delivery Westy unless that pop to is just sitting there. _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

The destination according to the M code plate was Germany. _________________ Can't polish a turd!
