Has anyone got a good suggestion for a single outlet silencer like the factory style to fit a late FI Beetle to go with 38mm big bore heat exchangers ? Car is on twin 40 dells with sport heads so needs to accommodate the extra flow required.

You can get high flow heat exchangers from any EMPI vendor. They come in 1 1/2" diameter. But the quality is a little off.
Search and you can find other manufacturers of heat exchangers.
CSP comes to mind. But be prepared to spend big $$$ for good quality parts.
