Where do these two ports connect if you have dual carbs? Just picked up a 70 ghia and the pictures are how they are set up now. The top port has a small air filter on it. Looking at various posts looks like some folks do this (air filter) and others connect to one of the carbs. Looks like a big debate.

The bottom one goes out the engine tin and is not capped or anything. That one I cannot find much discussion on. Mine just empties in the road. Should that be capped?

the top vent on the oil filler should go either to the top of an air cleaner or to a breather you might mount on the firewall. Both these are good for a mild engine.
for a more race engine, you could use a bigger and better breather to seperate out the oil from the fumes and still direct to the air cleaner. eg:

the bottom vent under the car should have a rubber teat on it that clips into the small hole on the side, this:
