When taking an initial measurement- lift the front of your car a bit with the parking brake set Your old shocks will hold it. When you aim the HLs you want the car to "simulate" the position it would be in accelerating with a little squat. _________________

Ok. Reporting back!
Got my headlight all adjusted - super easy, though I didn’t expect it to be difficult.
I had a bulb blow out a few weeks ago and was getting a very dim glow from the light. Noticeable at night, but admittedly much weaker than the opposite side.
I checked grounds and cleaned all the connections which really looked good anyway.
I found ONE 6V sealed beam locally, a General Electric bulb that looked like it was sitting on a shelf since the 80’s.
After, I still noticed that this new bulb while fully on still was dull compared to a Philips bulb I had on the passenger side
I went back online and bought a few more of these Philips 6V sealed beams.
These things are great! Still, not 12V and I won’t acknowledge that there are probably better performing fresnels out there on other bulbs but what a difference compared to the General Electric or even an old Wagner bulb I had around. Really impressed. Philips H6006C1. _________________ Mike
