I used this kit to repair a stripped out thread on my steering wheel. My search for repair didn't produce much. It appears to be pretty solid. Thought it my help save a steering wheel or two.

out of curiosity - what length do you need for the coil (McMaster sells 3 lengths)
3.5mm, 5.3 mm or 7 mm
(I should just go measure) |

| I used two 3.5s. you can only go so deep because of signal defeat screw at other end of the hole. I would think 5 would be good. |
