I’m going to order a water pump for an upcoming lengthy road trip just to carry in the van. Autohaus AZ shows a Graf brand water pump with a brass impeller that has me thinking there might be an issue with a stock pump/impeller set up failing. I know this to be the case with some BMW water pumps so thought I would check here to see if there’s a recommendation for Replacement water pumps. |

Graf is a good brand. I would expect all the aftermarket pumps probably have brass or steel impellers by this point. Plastic impellers do have failure modes that brass ones don't. |
