|
|
Been keeping my car under a cover to keep rain out of the engine, but between the wind blowing it off and it trapping water against the body and causing rust, I'm done with it. What I'd really like is just a cover for my engine as it's mostly exposed (half decklid, no apron).
In my head, I'm thinking a square of some sort of material, maybe with magnets at the corners, and a hole in the middle for the stinger to poke through. I don't have any paint to speak of, so I don't have to worry about damaging it.
Anyone have a similar setup or some ideas for me? Thanks. _________________ Videos:

I used to zip tie on some canvas on my old baja. Yes, I used it to go to work driving the snow plow, iced up was not an option. _________________ My cut in half and rebuild thread

When mine isn't in my garage at home, it's at a local boat storage place charges $65 month ... dirt floor but enough room to store the bug or my pickup as well as extra fenders and other body parts I'm accumulating to build a street sleeper.

Cheap sun shade cover for the front window. Has worked pretty well for the last year and has not blown off or anything. Love to support my old school too! _________________ Stupid people do stupid things. |
