Great news, we missed last year and the year before. As I recall there is the main show at Best Western Inn of the Ozarks, Foul Air and another All makes European, wonder if that’s going on this year. Oh well two out of three ain’t bad. Smile

Love it that you can immerse into Vws for a minimum of two to three days. Some of the dedicated stay the whole week😀

I was there Friday to Sunday saw a bunch of people I always see every year. I didn’t bring a car or sell anything at swap. As a tourist I got to see it all

I got some pics of the everything German show all makes mostly water cooled. On the way Friday I traveled for a few miles with about 20 of them doing over 80 mph. I dropped off but caught up only to see all of them stopped by the highway patrol. I hope they got off with a warning.

Here’s a good shot looking down the hill at the show.

Sunday morning I got up and climbed the fire tower left by US Forest Service. Nice views, makes legs sore for next day😀 as I looked out over the trees I thought how a couple years of drought and this whole place would be tinder.

These Victorian houses were not built here they travelled from Springfield to be reassembled and used for parties. I first saw them in early 1990s when some hippies owned them. They were open to the public but now nobody gets in unless they are members. The level of craftsmanship of these is why they moved them. Anybody that can appreciate this would be entertained just looking.

They were turned into time capsules of Victorian era with a twist. They had several parrots in sealed plexiglass cages claiming they would live for 100s of years. Ya man. People come up here and get wasted while looking at VWs but there is much more to see and do. The underground tour is practically unknown.

Looking at the pics and from what I witnessed very few people wore masks. If attendance was down it wasn’t by much as three shows went off all on Saturday. I’ve come to realize I’m an old timer now. I bought my first shirt here in 1997 but don’t and never did buy all the shirts. My fav is this 2000 year of the bus. The simplicity of the graphic says enough.

Thanks so much for the compliments on my artwork. I did the shirts for quite a few years, then got a job at the post office that took all my free time away. This was one of my favorites also. And the year of the watercooled. On that one I did a spin off of John Muir's artwork in the idiot book. But club members wanted to add color to it. The original black and white was much better. I'll try to find the artwork and take a pic.
