Thanks,

Not yet for us. Got the clamps, and need to make extenders to clear the roof top.

I have this rack that uses the Quick and Easy clamps:

I don't know who actually made this rack, but it fits the bus nicely.

I have a handful of extra Quick and Easy clamps that I've been collecting when I come across them at good prices.

GREAT!This is what I was looking for. Another question:

It appears the cross bars from tower to tower have an arch or camber to them.

Will a straight pipe go across from tower to tower? If so how much clearance between the bottom of the cross bar and to the top of the roof?

I did a rough measurement the other day. I looked like about 7" from gutter to top of roof arch. I think that's pretty close to the bottom of the cross bars...

Cheers,

dgsaz

No, and that is why we need to make extenders....

I picked this Quick and Easy setup from a yard sale some time back. It does clear, but there is slightly less than an inch clearance at the crown of the roof. Would be super easy to make spacers and use longer bolts.

Ah yes, this is the information I was looking for.

Riser blocks and longer bolts. Perfect.

Thanks to everyone who contributed and posted pictures. Saved me a ton of research.

Cheers,

Old thread, but do you still have the rack? If so, how wide is it? The distance between the clamps. Thanks!

Just saw this, I don't have notifications set up..
I do still have it but it is deep in storage at the moment.. Maybe the member that posted above (dgsaz) could help with that measure?
