I'm thinking of replacing the 1" Go Westy memory foam mattress topper on our lower bed with something a bit softer/better. Go Westy has a 2" version and this company,
https://fanchers.com/shop/ols/products/the-best-me...bric-cover
goes them one better with a 3" topper.
Has anyone used one of these? I wrote to them asking if it came in a grey color and got back a bit of a howler: "This material only comes in what we offer.
This is a Medical grade fabric and we could get in different colors if we purchase 10,000 yards which is not going to happen any time soon." So I guess that means no grey. Combined with the fact that they insist their cover is "8 way stretch" which seems a bit of a trick in a 3 dimensional world, but maybe they've broken some barriers to the norms of physics.
Anyway anybody slept on one and had their life transformed or entered another dimension? _________________ '69 Squareback RIP

You live in one of the boating capitals in the country. Go to a marine canvas specialist who offers mattress capability and you will get great advice. Or the exact mattress with the comfort you want, cut to the exact size you want, covered with the fabric and color you want. You have a land yacht. Go to the yachting source. The boat mattress I have at 4" is more comfortable than the 10" matters plus a topper we have at home.

Duncan said it rather sternly, but you should bow to his knowledge. Don’t use tacky material, though, it has to jibe with the rest. _________________ .ssS! |

We have the GW 2" topper with 3-lb memory foam and I find it to be very comfortable. I can imagine it would be a great upgrade from the 1". But after reading that Fancher's product description I must be sleeping on total garbage. 5-lb memory foam and that 8-way stretch, fluid-proof material sounds out-of-sight. Please confirm or deny the hype if you decide to purchase! _________________ '85 Westfalia 1.9L

I've never tried a 1" or 2" from GoWesty.
The Fanchers is very comfortable. Very big and heavy. Fits nicely flopped back on itself. It would not fit stowed up top.
The description sold me on it. Who doesn't like magic? |
