The horn button is from an Amphicar and is the Lubeck castle in the town of Lubeck where Amphicars were built. _________________ Dec 54 Ragtop Beetle

The pipes might be an old conversion kit from floor/tunnel shifter to steering column shifter. My first boss at current job had such a conversion in his late 1940's CCG Beetle when he still lived in Frankfurt, Germany in the early 1950's. Said there was a lot of slop/play in the linkage, but he bought the car with it and even used the car for local rallies. I've never seen such a linkage installed in a car in person. The pipe would to all the way to the front of the car to connect with the shifter linkage via the access plate between the front axle beams. |
