Does anyone make conversion tins to put a Porsche 356 engine in a VW? I’d rather not modify original Porsche tins.

The tins to the body are different.

Sell the 356 engine and with the money, buy a new 1776. You'll have some money left over after.

Seriously. As often as I've heard that story where somebody they knew bolted in a Porsche engine, you'd think only half of all Bugs had actual VW engines in them. Laughing

I actually bought a set of original Porsche 356 tins what were cut/modified to fit inside a VW engine bay. I have since sold the Porsche motor and have these sitting on a shelf. If you are interested in buying them send me a PM and we can discuss.
