Or, tell them you welded 'em up because your glass cleaner and paper towel budget was too high. _________________ nothing |

Very nice '61! Low hinge, pockets in the door, I am guessing Feb/Mar of '61 production? I have a May '61 23W, and could only dream of such nice og paint on mine. |

Close- Jan '61. Came out of Bethel Island via Ben Mazzeti circa 1990 when dry OG paint 23 windows were only $1500. _________________

Great picture PJ. I can't tell if my eyes are seeing the Mango in the reflection for the color that it is, or if my brain just already knows it's a Mango bus in the reflection so my eyes see it that way? Trippy.. _________________ Brandon |

If you look hard enough, you can see the mango. Knowing it's a mango definitely helps. The curve in the door makes the 59 look cartoonish. Love driving the 59. Thanks again! |

I guess I've been around these things too long. I figured most everybody knew what a sunroof standard was.
Surely the most practical vehicle ever produced.
I used a sunroof Vanagon in my business for 20 years. With a ladder rack and ladder on the roof one could have a rolling scaffold very easily, carry tall loads, and park in the sun without entering an oven to drive it. I had a bay double cab, too but the sunroof car was still more useful.
