… back in 1990, there was a book, I was reading - I took it everywhere, I went - I wrote quotes by friends, in there and anything else, I wanted to remember... sad thing is, I left that book in a motel in 1991 - never to be seen again - lost: many of the quotes and the name of a very favorite instrumental song - been tryin' to think of that song title for 30 years - only remembered, it had a very unexpected name - Last night, while sleeping, the song popped into my head and I hummed it - today, I located it, on line - is like a dream come true... reading the book again…..the Great Plains, by Ian Frasier..... da' tune is >

Sounds nice but here’s a real treat. Go back to YouTube and look for Leroy Anderson and you’ll see he wrote that song along with many similar tunes like these.

Of course there are others and probably best known is this which gets played every year in December.

I like this stuff too reminds of simpler time when I was a kid😀

… thank you, for all the similar music - reminds of simpler time when I was a kid, too - the syncopated clock was also the theme song for the late show - 1951 to 1976 - z
