It's very easy to see where the Rabbit and Dasher came from. The Variant II and Brazillia look like complete mashups of the earlier T3 models and later Mk1 water cooled cars brad

It's really too bad this did not catch on. The dependability of the air cooled engine, with Type 3 cooling, coupled with a modern body and front suspension, would be the best VW ever.

I hope more are found. Next time you have it up on a rack, I'd love to see photos of that front suspension and steering setup.

The answer to the front suspension is probably easier than you'd believe... It was likely built on a T1/Superbeetle chassis.
