Can someone recommend a source for an oval cardboard trunk liner? I need the flat piece that sits behind the gas tank and runs up towards the dash.
Looking for something Concours quality, not concerned about the price.
Thanks |

56-57 oval or earlier?
I have the one from mid-america and one from wolfsburgwest for my 56':

http://wolfsburgwest.com/cart/DetailsList.cfm?ID=113863509B
The WW keeps its form and is a little water resistant, but comes off as looking too shinny to me. The mid-america one seems correct, but is easy to crease and be affected by liquid (I got water on mine washing the car). Neither of them really fit perfectly, but my car is a convertible, so I'm not sure there would be a difference...I roll the mid-america one.
I dont have any experience with the earlier liners, but have seen them for sale $$$ _________________ DBK Nor Cal

Thanks, yah, 56-57 is what I'm after. The last one I had was NOS and it wasn't very water resistant either. I had the same thing happen when washing a car, some water got through a body clip hole, and it was a bummer. I'll check those 2 out. Thanks for the lead. |

A little bit of silicone on the 3 (or 4) emblem tabs as they come through the hood works great. _________________ CH³NO²

Good idea Jim. Does that also work on turbo cars? Or do they go too fast for the silocone to stay put |

WW doesn't have them in stock at the moment. They told me it might be a while.

Mine are soldered so they don't come off at speed! _________________ CH³NO²

I've got a NOS one for a 56-57, got it from Kochs almost 15 years ago, mint condition, nearly a 10, $300 shipped if anyone else is interested.

57 oval's trunk liner measurement. Try this for a source. _________________ .
