Hi
Few years back I post my issue of lack of power not restart.
It ended up that gas tank was extremely rusty and fix this.

Since Oil change/gas filter change and consistent maintenance

But 2 times I had a failure :

For some reason (long drive, tank not full) it lost power and you have to stop . Impossible to restart engine
No evidence of vacuum air hose disconnected ..etc

But after a certain time guess what - it restart and drive like nothing has happened.

Cooling effect ? Any guess of what is behind this /root cause ??

I'd start by unplugging the TS2 wire and grounding the harness end of it when the bus is warm and seeing if it does the same thing. Next I'd wait for it to quit again and immediately pull the coil HT lead from the middle of the distributor cap and hold it 1/4" away from something metal while a helper cranked the engine, spark spark spark?

This.

I'd also look at the grounds to the engine and and the double relay.
