Yes, I cross-posted it in the Barndoor Bus photo thread

Seems like sloppy parking but I guess it's all under construction so maybe work vehicles?

I thought this was posted several pages ago and was of one of the big dealerships (Raffay, Mahag, et cetera) under construction...

Before 1960, UK registration numbers started with letters first, followed by numbers, and then as they were running out of available registration numbers, they switched, and started using numbers 1st, followed by letters.

From this we can see that these vehicles were registered 1960 on, with the big back window no doubt coming new with that number, and the Split an import into the UK after 1960. How the owner of the newer Beetle would have been proud of their 'new' model, whilst parked alongside 'the old banger'! How time has changed that perspective!
