Here's a few more pictures. There is also a lot of the roof ducting parts for the later vans. What ever you don't take is going in the garbage- I'm tired of storing this stuff.

As you figured by now, I'm am getting this unit.
Why? I just spent $1,000 making my rear unit freeze my Wife out of the Van!
I've been intrigued by the front ceiling mount system for years.
I want to get it and see what it is about. Would it be an upgrade or is it more work that I don't have time to do?
I have a friend seeking A/C, maybe he can use it?
It seemed too good to toss in the dumpster but I have no immediate need.
It seems that the tide is turning on the "toss the A/C" mentality. The PNW has been in the 90’s and 100’s!
It has been proven by myself and others that the much maligned "crappy" Vanagon A/C can be made to work again and freeze their owners. They really did work when new!
Someone will want it, maybe me?
If it is me, you can be assured that my rear mount system will find a happy home with someone!
For now, get it, open it and see if it can be used again.
Apparently the plastic on these didn't age well...... not that the rear tintop design has aged well!

Early dealer (or port of entry) installed A/C unit. Parts availability is questionable. _________________ 1984 Vanagon GL
