I think Everett got it! DKW Schnell-Laster pickup, one of several body styles offered from 1949 thru 1962. German name for rapid transporter. Here's a shot from a slightly later one. The one in the photo has its grill blacked out and swept back; looks like a "Groucho" moustache. Drivetrain was opposite configuration of VW Type 2, with 2-stroke, 2-cyl. water-cooled engine mounted transversely at the front of the vehicle, driving the front wheels.

not much to go on for the other car but I'm thinking borgward hansa, cabrio or saloon?

I'm having a hard time imagining an early '90s Wartburg 353 at a classic car show (the tan car partially hidden behind the DKW truck). _________________ Thanks,

That looks like it has the Hebmuller side badge.. They made them for sure in Hebmuller karosserie. Great pict. _________________ Zelensis, glassfibre body made in Belgium , disigned and built on a VW platform About 25 body's built.
