My 69 bug has empi 2 1/2" drop spindles and empi sway bar for the drop spindles.
Just tried to drive the car after a 16 month restoration and my driver front tire rubs on the fender.
I have 24 1/2" on LF and 25 1/2 on RF from ground to tip of fender.
I need to raise it at least an inch. I don't want to go back to the stock spindles as it raises the front too much.
What do you think would be the easiest way to get another inch higher?
Would adjustable coil-overs fix it? Thanks! |

Adjustable front beam that can be raised. Or a cut/twist stock beam modification, but twist the opposite direction that you normally would.
I'm not sure if coil overs will solve anything and they might also have an undesirable affect as far as handling, performance, feel, etc. _________________ 1967 Bug ( the daily rod )

many times the rear being off can cause some of this. how are you measuring? you could have aftermarket fender on one side, etc. |
