|
|
For a long long time I've owned two Ghia's.
A 69 Coupe
A 70 Convertible.
I always intended to take the best of two and make one runner.
Life happens, other vehicles happen.
A 1974 Super Beetle Convertible cut in line and the Ghia's waited.
As that was finishing up a 1986 Vanagon Camper cut in line, again the Ghia's waited.
The 86 Camper left and I pulled out the Ghia's but we had purchased a house that needed rebuilding so there went the spare time and spare cash!
This Winter a 1990 Vanagon cut in line...... again, the Ghia's waited.
Now we are moving into this house that took my time and money from the Ghia's.
Sadly, there is no space to rebuild cars here.
So I've decided to say goodbye to the Ghia's and hope they will roll again under new ownership.
You all have been great! A kinder, gentler, more friendly forum does not exist on thesamba!
Many sell off their toys and never say goodbye. We are left wondering what happened to them.
Well you need not wonder, I'll be focused on working and traveling in my Vanagon!
Y'all be good now!

Life happens, awesome and sad!
Thank you for all your contributions.
My partner and I are getting close to RV travel.
Who knows, maybe our paths will cross.
