I know this is jump starting an old topic. Would anyone near Central/Eastern NY want to run this lead down? I'm on the west coast so it's a bit far to just drive by for me. Smile

Yes.
PM me.

I called the property owner this morning, she was very nice and said the Bus is not hers or on her property. She does know the owner and will pass on my phone number. She said the film makers took a little artistic license in filming her in front of the old VW Bus and a few people have called about it.

So much VW porn in this movie.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AeEzQ4P19qw&t=1218s
if you don't have the time, jump to 20:19 for a sweet VW ambulance Amphibi-cop car chase scene.

Can someone tell me the make of the grey bus in the background ? If you watch that scene a blue one comes soon after in the opposite direction. I think I want one.

Cool, I feel like we see less 23-Windows than other types of Buses but I could be wrong

It looks like a 62-63 model.
I wonder what it says on the rear hatch

This is the best I can do with a crop of just the bus. This is a camera shot of the TV so it didn't start out super clean or crisp. There is a Citroen DS in front of the bus and then a couple of Ponton Mercedes, perhaps taxis

Thanks for the follow up.

I think the problem is 1963 is before we could just say "Enhance, enhance, enhance" at the screen and it would be clear as day.
