Door skin removal/repair/refit

Hi all,
Just seeing if anyone has removed a door skin to repair hinges then refit again in a clean way? Any tutorials on this? I’m trying to save an og door on my 59 which has the original paint hidden under nether. Hinges been ripped out and skin itself needs running back.
Love to know the process to make my attempt easier.

I have seen it done in the barndoor forum but don't remember any explanation. Would just need the lip gently bent back after any welds were removed.
