Hi everyone.
Been daily driving my 87 wbx’r and over the last few days there’s a circuit breaker under my passenger seat began cycling.
According to the Pollak site it’s a thermally tripped breaker.
Can anyone tell me what it is supplying power to? Or a general idea?
I will replace the unit but am concerned it may be cycling due to an overload.
Here’s two pictures of the item and location.
Thank everyone I appreciate the collective knowledge of the group.
Owen

No and no. You have to trace the wire and see for yourself. It's not original/stock.
It's a pretty thick wire. Do you have any heavy duty accessories like a serious stereo? _________________ '87 Syncro

Ha I wish. No stereo at all, yet…
I couldn’t find it in the Bentley so I suspected it was not oem.
I’m just going to leave it off and see what doesn’t work, if anything.
Thanks for the confirmation.

If you don't have a stereo at all, it may have been the power wire for an amp. I would try to find out what it is connected to or if it's just hanging loose somewhere.
Not hard to remove the piece of wire from the terminal clamp to the breaker luckily. _________________ '87 Syncro

So turns out this wire was charging my house battery. I have the diesel centre heat tunnel and the wire was run under it. Where is crossed into the under seat cavity it had cut the wire insulation.
Intermittent short was tripping the breaker / fuse.
Thanks for the assistance everyone.

A thermal reset breaker will keep whacking the short until something breaks or starts on fire. _________________ -dan
