I noticed on a recent trip, towing a trailer, that the tongue weight of the trailer lifted the front of my 2003 MV noticeably,....and surprisingly, the ride quality improved by a huge amount. A month ago, I adjusted the front torsion bars to lift the front end up to the current 29.5ish inches to the lower lip of the front wheel arch with my 215 R65 16 All Terrain Tires (taller side wall). I also installed new Bilstein B6 HD shocks. Given the improved ride with the front lifted a bit by the trailer load (no more crashing into the front suspension bump stops) I would like to get opinions on lifting the front end further, would consider lifting the rear a bit as well (Spacers?), but my initial goal would be to Lift the front and keep the rear stock. Am Aware and concerned with the increasing angle in the front drive CV joints and how that could potentially impact longevity.

Thoughts?

I'm surprised no one has chimed in on this yet.

I'm not a mechanic, but one thought I do have on this is that Cole @ CaveVan has done a significant number of lifts and sells spacers for the same. His biggest spacer is a 1.5" addition to stock in the rear, perhaps around that same addition is reasonable for front lift as well?

I do also vaguely recall him or others expressing concern here re: going much further than that (2.0" or more, for instance) but don't recall the specifics. CV angle I believe was definitely the main concern.
