Hello Everyone,
I have a 1978 Bus.
Is there an audible tone alert for the temperature? I was in a drive thru for while and a sound started. (More of a tone rather that a buzzer). Once I got rolling it quit. It happend again later that afternoon when in heavy traffic. It sounds like it is coming from underneath middle section.
I will explore more. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

There are no temperature alerts on your bus. The only thing you have (if it's stock) is a thermostat that open flaps on the engine tin to let more air over the cylinder heads. You need to crawl under your bus and find out what's going on. _________________ 1978 Delux Campmobile

If it always happens when the clutch is pressed, then this is a good guess. _________________ Eric

Same here. A clogged fuel filter can cause this sound. To the O.P. when's the last time it was replaced? |
