Hello Everyone,
I have a 1978 Bus.
Is there an audible tone alert for the temperature? I was in a drive thru for while and a sound started. (More of a tone rather that a buzzer). Once I got rolling it quit. It happend again later that afternoon when in heavy traffic. It sounds like it is coming from underneath middle section.
I will explore more. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Rick

There are no temperature alerts on your bus. The only thing you have (if it's stock) is a thermostat that open flaps on the engine tin to let more air over the cylinder heads. You need to crawl under your bus and find out what's going on.

If it always happens when the clutch is pressed, then this is a good guess.

Same here. A clogged fuel filter can cause this sound. To the O.P. when's the last time it was replaced?
