The show is still on. There are currently no Covid restrictions. Swap meet is on! Food vendor will be there. Everything should be the same as in past years.
If you have already pre-registered for the show, just let us know that on the way in.
For everyone else, please just register at the show. $20 cash. There is no more pre-registration through the museum website.
For those of you camping in Salem, I will register you for the show there, if you are going. |
Did I miss something? I wasn't aware we could pre register...guess I'll be doing it at the show. |

We will have our traditional pre-show camp-out in Salem, MA at Winter Island Park. Thur. 10/7 through Sunday 10/10. A caravan will depart Sun. morning from the campground to drive to the show in Brookline, MA.
Camping is $20/night, CASH only. Additional people/kids (beyond 2 adults) are $5 each for the whole weekend of camping. We will be in the Igloo and Fort areas, as in the past. PLEASE check in with me when you arrive. I will assign you a spot to camp. I will also be checking the Covid vaccination status of everyone in your group.h
Salem now has an indoor mask mandate, through this November. That means you must wear a mask when you are indoors, no matter what your vaccination status is. This would include the campground store and bathroom.
The list below has been compiled from those who attended the campout in 2019. If you want to be added to the list, please contact me by TEXT at 508*333.7813. Again, TEXT only.
If you are on the list and your info, or nights of stay are wrong, TEXT me. If you want to be removed from the list, TEXT me.

Please don't pre-register. I do not prefer this. It is something the MOT did this year only. |
OK great, thanks. I was just concerned about driving 3.5 hours and not being able to get in. Looking forward to the show! |

Stan, can you add:
Brian Larsen, NY '73 orange Westy. Fri-Sat.
Thanks
Also, do we know if they are running the race this year?
I assume folks are going to want to cruise down to the show again.
As with always, I'll have the usual route directions in hand the morning of to those who caravan. If you have one, bring your FRS/GMRS radio. _________________ Mike

No road race on Sunday. However the Boston Marathon is Monday 10/11/21, rescheduled from this Spring. They use a different route. |
I think - for simplicity sake, and to avoid the confusion of "we always go this way" - I may stick to the usual route. _________________ Mike
