I’m guessing there’s a decent amount of aircooled VW’s on the road there. Are there cars with the Mexican efi? Anyone think I can find a junkyard with VW’s in Lima?

I saw many more Beetles than expected. Probably around 40 in six days. Here’s a few. Only saw two bay window buses.

Nice sightings.

I'm going to be traveling to Peru in January with my daughter so I'll see if I can take a few pictures myself.

Quick question:

With the mandatory Covid testing before flying back to the US rule, was it difficult at all to get the test done before you came back?

The test was arranged through the hotel. I think a bus came and brought others to be tested. I guess from surrounding hotels.
