I may be out of my area of expertise (which is really limited to teaching high school English) but could this product not be 3D printed? Just curious. _________________ "You're either on the bus, or you're off the bus." ~kk

I'm not too crafty, but I'd throw some money at that. _________________ '90 White Westy ("The Longship")

Would anyone be willing to lend me their CNC screen, so I can make one? His posts indicate he's supportive of that. . . . _________________ '90 White Westy ("The Longship")

I dun dood it. I cut a template out of black foam board and trimmed it until it fit. A friend with a wood shop is cutting out for me. I bent a pair of rubber covered p-clips and bent and cut them to work. All that is left is to insert the screen material and Bobs yet uncle!

Here's my take I did last year. Parts are all 3d printed. I made it to fit my '84 Westy. When I made a couple extra for friends, I discovered that not all skylight operator covers are the same. I need to adjust my drawings to fit the newer/new covers.
I painted the cover and screen parts with Fusion Matte River Rock.

Here's mine. Two day project. 1/4" birch plywood, jigsaw, black nylon screen and VHB tape. The bottom side will be painted gray to match my interior. Easy peasy!
