Hi All
Looking for some input from the collective. My "Go Fast" 1996 bug needs a new exhaust. It's just "go fast" for me, fun to drive modified body with a 1776 engine. One of the changes was to fill the rear apron exhaust cutouts when it was painted. Running a single muffler with a header has been a solution for ever.
The car is just low enough that I've dragged away the end seam from my A-1 muffler, so it needs to be replaced. The Vintage speed muffler on my bus has been great. It runs great, cool, and doesn't drone at high volume on the highway.
The question: What Vintage Speed exhaust will clear the rear apron without the exhaust cut outs. The Bus mufflers look like they should work... Maybe the lowered bus one... Looking for practical experience.
Thanks in Advance, Scott |

Seems like the Abarth model may fill the bill.
Edit: the models labeled "for aprons without cut-outs" |
