New clutch cable...pedal near floor

That’s the diagram that clued me in! Unfortunately the clevis will not go onto the Pedal arm . It is worn over time and the opening is misshapen. It was hard to get off and would only go back on one way—-that way was upside-down.

I could try to file it but the clevis levers are only $5 ...

Getting the little lever positioned correctly should effectively shorten the cable by 3/8 - 1/2".

new clevis fits on great.

Going to install in the morning.

with work, the family and the heat (weather not cops ) lately, this this project (engine remove and clean etc./install) has taken forever.
