Bentley seems to tell me that there's one bolt hiding up under the dash to remove the front fender but I can't seem to find it??? I have a '71 and the fuse panel is removed for better access but I can't find a thing. I'm just trying to loosen the fender to get a little better alignment and adjust the fender welting but that corner is getting the best of me. The bolt between the door and fender is already loose.

That looks like it's from the outside showing the cowl area and under where the fender sat? Is the hole on the right where the bolt from under the dash goes?

Yes, that's from the outside. Here are a few of the fender.

Yeah, the bolt for the one way up in the corner is "hidden" behind some plastic defrost ductwork on my car.

Alrighty well I got it off, aside from the three along the door pillar my car didn't have any other bolts hiding under the dash so I dunno, maybe it's missing? Oh well, got everything under there cleaned up.

My car was about to take up gardening with the amount of soil behind the FI tank vent canister Laughing So I'm glad I took the fender all the way off. Broke the very end off my nice body colored welting though Crying or Very sad Nothing a touch of superglue can't fix though.

I was going to say there's one screw way way up front next to the front wall. It's a 10mm hex head screw like the other fender screws, but should have a rubber washer under the steel washer to keep water out. See if you can find the screw hole for it, so you'll know to put another one back in there, or you'll have a water leak you can't find.
