Anyone around northern NM that are interested in getting together for meetups, campouts, etc? A northern NM group for semi-regular get-togethers?
I'd be interested in helping with the organizing.

Looks like there are 3 others interested.
If you PM your email addy to me, I will put together an email list. That might be a little more solid connecting all of us- not that we can't also post here on TS re: meetups and campout plans.
It's really nice Fall weather for camping now.

I am going to stealth camp for the balloon fiesta on Tuesday night.
Anyone have any clever, ultra secret spots they are willing to share?

I want to wake up within walking distance of the Dawn Patrol event |

don't have look out your door balloons but I have backyard space at 220 Washington NE 87108

You’ll wake up all right, when they fire that burner 25 ft above your van with the windows open!
Source: Happened to me. I think they do it intentionally. They look for campers out on the west mesa and say “hey there’s a sleeper let’s scare the shit outta them!”
