Decided to supplement the inadequate cockpit illumination provided by the single factory dome light on the drivers side. Found this battery-powered LED version on Amazon:

Another way to do it is changing the old incandescent bulb in the stock dome light with a brighter LED one. I picked the most powerful one I could find, warm white, it's perfect. _________________ '90 Little Blue Truck, 2WD auto, FAS GenV 2.0 NA (AVH) |

Yes, I did that first with the dome light at the drivers side, but the results were unimpressive. This unit even matches the gray AC tunnel and plenum. Properly placed it illuminates both the driver and front passenger area. _________________ “Most everyone’s mad here.
