I took the headlights out of my 1970 vert in order to troubleshoot some shorts. Once in there, found some rust so had some cleaning to do. All done now and, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong that's keeping the headlights from sinking deep enough into the bucket.
I took video of what it all looked like prior to pulling it apart so I know I've got it back in the correct order. Any newbie mistakes that are easy to make? |

Thanks. I have studied this thoroughly and I've got it all back in the correct order but the lights still project too far. Driving me nuts. |

Post a pic, front and especially side view, perhaps with and without the chrome ring, that way we get a better visual of your situation.

May be a silly question......are the tuning screws at 12 and 9 on both the left and the right headlight?
Seems like what's happening is that when I screw in the the tuning screws, they pull in at 12 and 9 o'clock and it gets real snug there. But it has the opposite effect on 3 and 6. Those are the areas that jut out. |
