Door closed, lock latch stuck down. Suggestions as to how to unlock greatly welcomed. Would like to find a way to unlock without having to remove the door. Thanks! |

If the passenger door is not locked then go ahead and try to pull the door panel off see if anything is disconnected or jammed inside (you may have to sacrifice the panel . |

If possible remove the front seats which will give you better access. _________________ Volkswagen: We tune what we drive.

Took panel off and am working the lock to see if it will release. Thanks and will advise what works to release it. |

Got a small flashlight and looked into the door (window rolled down) and looked for hang up while depressing the handle. Saw what I thought might be keeping the lock from releasing and pressed on it with a screwdriver. It popped open and I removed the lock for inspection. Wow, thanks all. |
