Anyone have any experience with which VW parts companies will ship to an overseas APO without charging an arm and a leg and with a minimum of hassle?

Shipping to an APO is identical to to shipping something in the U.S. The package goes to either New York or Chicago and then goes into the military mail system. The only procedural difference is that the shipper has to fill out a customs form and attach it to the box. I keep running into companies that either don't grasp the concept and want to charge me full international shipping or that do grasp the concept but want me to pay an extra high fee for the privilege of ordering from them. I can see an increased cost of a few $$ for the effort of affixing the customs form but not $29.95.

Amazon has figured this out. Which VW parts companies have?

Most of the suppliers in Europe have the customs thing figured out. They don't charge extra to fill out the required documentation.
CSP, Eurocarb, JPM, I have bought parts from them and it was never a hassle getting the paper worked out.

I shipped infant clothed to my daughter in Germany last year through the APO system. The documentation was simple.
I don't get why there would be a $29.99 extra charge. To fill out the paper work? Dumb!
