We picked up a neglected goat last year, fixed male, horns removed, one eye, I wanted to call him "Lucky" Confused The Angora white female is nasty to him, yesterday I spotted blood on his head -where his horns would be, and dried blood on her horns- Shocked

I knew I'd find my answer @ TheSamba.
As it turns out, I don't want goats, thanks to TheSamba Goat Thread from 2008.

Besides milk or meat they use them around here to clear overgrown land using small movable fencing.

These little guys do an extraordinary job of cleaning off unwanted vegetation then will stand and eat all the low hanging branches. This is very useful in areas hard to access with machinery or having concerns with noise. Another positive the only pollution they put off is biodegradable. I’ve eaten goat it wasn’t bad.

It’s nice to see a post from Russ when he left a hole opened here.
