Porsche / Pedrini, they were original on Porsche 914. 55.5x15 ET42.

I've had them on my car since 1980.

You need special long lug bolts.

There were early ones with a 00 suffix on the part number, these are for drum brakes. The later ones have a 01 suffix and can find disc brakes.

Personally, I love those wheels and if I was still running a 4x130 pcd, I'd be searching for a set.

I agree with Glenn on the pricing.

As for quality, since they are Porsche factory wheels, I'd have full confidence in their quality and they are beautiful wheels that look great on VWs. Good luck!

Today i had a chance to test fit the wheels on my 79. I am going to replace the tires and put 185/65 all around.

The issue i have is with the center cap over the driver side wheel. It will not fit over the dust cap. Are there smaller dust caps maybe with the hole for the speedo cable?

The rear fits fine.

looks like you have late dust caps with extra lumps molded in to give you something else to grab when removing them...caps all fit 66 and up...believe you just need an earlier cap just not sure of exact year

Can anyone tell me what length of thread I need for the bolts with the old (00) rims?

I have drums in the back and disc in the front.

I got 40mm studs (the thread is 40mm) and they look long.

just get a thin tape measure and stick it in the bolt hole to see how deep the threads go...then stick a lug through the rim and see how far it sticks out...glenn said 00's were for drums...and you initially said you have drums...now you say you have discs? you may need a front spacer to clear the caliper?

I have a 79 which originally had drums but I did a disc conversion on the front. I tested the wheels. They clear the caliper and the 40mm bolts are not a problem on the front but I think they will bee too deep for the back.

You'll need to cut the rears shorter.
