Does anyone recognize this bus. I need history help!!!! 22606589

Hey everyone, well I purchased my first bus . 1966 11 window . I have traced 5 owners now and I am at a dead end in the Atlanta Georgia area. It was sold by “a younger guy” to a woman in 1998 in the Atlanta area. I really am into the history of these vehicles , and I could use some info on what was done to it. It was originally Titian red but at some point was painted turquoise, then painted blue and white. If you know this bus or know someone who may please help me out. I would love a full history, as I begin bringing it back to life . Not looking to throw shade at anyone for past work , just a history (good or bad).

Does the drivers side long wall look like it's been replaced or repaired?
That turquoise is a very familiar color of A bus I owned back in the early 90s. I sold it to one of my buddies and he drove it all over the US. And someone was passing him on the left while he was making a left hand turn. It had a pretty good rake behind the Dogleg on the drivers side. After the wreck he sold it and I never saw it again. That would be close to the time period you said a young man sold it in 1998

Actually the passenger side looks more ragged then drivers side. Was it Titian red under the turquoise?? Was he in Atlanta?

I'm not sure where he was when he sold it. He lived in Arkansas but traveled everywhere. If your drivers side wall is nice untouched its not the same bus. I really can't remember what the original color of mine was under that bright light teal color.

Add the vin number in the title of your post so that it comes up when someone does a Google search and searches TS. Also, you might want to Google and TS search the vin number, search people's names that you do know, and send them FB messages. I did this and I was able to collect awesome photos and info. GOOD LUCK!!

Yes thank you for that suggestion. I did quite an extensive search with the 4 names I had. I was able to find 2 more owners , however I am at a dead end in the Atlanta area . I’m not familiar with being able to do a title search. I don’t think all states allow that.

That I believe is a rail off a skate board, maybe it held a radio or something in place on the shelf.
