I am helping a friend with her car and see that they used this puck style transmission mount. Before I break out the welder and weld a bolt onto the torsion, I figured I'd see what creative ways other people have done.

What would be the best easiest way to run the ground strap?

You could use a M10 long hex barrel nut like the one in this link on one of the frame studs, then bolt the ground strap the the open side...

I have seen it done the way 61SNRF explained, it works very well that way.
