I've got one on a blow through 2180. It works, but is NOT self tuning in my opinion... I've had to learn/tune a lot. That said, I'm really impressed with the tuning software and the configuration options.
I am in AZ with a hairdryer blowing into it, so I can overcome the effects of no manifold heat after a warm up. If you can add/keep manifold heat, I'd highly recommend doing that.

It is an electric carburetor, as they've said.
There are some key differences: (Super sniper in my case)
- Timing control (added after this photo)
- Programmable gauge readout
- Data Logging
- Customizable Fuel curve with MAP/MAT modifiers (vs volumetric only with carb jets)
- Significantly more fuel flow bandwidth (i.e. very little at idle and huge volume at WOT due to injector pulse width controls.) -- this means the car can drive nicely with small inputs, or be a monster.
- Cold/Hot start tuning (timing, fueling, MAT or CTS based |

I do believe that the stock end castings and a centre section will only support about 100hp with rpm limitations to about 5k no matter what engine ? |

Yes then take into account the high intake temps and the restriction in the exhaust at 1 bar of boost . It's not very efficient way to feed a 2180cc motor |

Probably be more effective if you get the plug wires on the right way |

When I first fitted the Megajolt , I had the distributor still in place but no rotor ,cap or leads . The coil is behind the fan housing . At a show I had the engine idling with the boot open , the amount of people that stared and shook their heads and couldn't work out how it was running was hilarious . I told one bloke it was diesel , another that is had a Psychic Spark system |

Haven't clicked it over to 1 bar yet, but intake temps are monitored via the handheld interface. Hottest I've seen is 130-140f driving in AZ summer temps. That said, haven't climbed any mountain passes yet either. |

My 1679 with CB EFI end castings....which I think are the same inside diameter as stock end castings.......did 187 hp to the wheels at 20.5 lbs. boost.
I did have a 1 5/8ths inch custom homemade center piece intake and 45 mm German Bosch throttle body on it.
Everything peaked at 4800-5000 rpm with a W-100 cam. _________________

I've done plenty of dyno testing on the stock manifold with stock end castings and also single IDF centre section and a custom 1 5/8 centre section with CB ends. I have also tested other manifolds ITB etc so have comparative results which are very clear
The stock end castings have limitations, changing the centre section doesn't make much difference.
The new aftermarket PICT manifolds are not great and getting the heat risers to work properly is a job and limits the exhaust choice.
For turbo stuff a single injector would have to be too large and would cause issues with idle and tuning low speed so you'd have to go 4 injector CB ends/rails which is $230 plus centre section $90 plus whatever throttle $???
Nah just put something better on |

Nice weld up job
If you were close to me I'd have you welding injector bosses into stock end castings. I got about 30 pairs |

I just found that a regular garage a mile from has an aluminum and stainless welder. His street barracuda went into the 4.90’s in the 1/8th. _________________ 1973 standard, yellow, lowered, 3” narrowed front, 1600 blo-thru turbo w/single dell 15.4@86, so far
